Håkon Asheim

I have been playing the Hardanger fiddle and violin since I was young. I teach and organize studies in traditional music at the Ole Bull Academy in Voss, Norway since 2003, as well as doing freelance work as a musician, lecturer and teacher, writer, folk music transcriber and copyist… Before music became my main field of activity, I worked as a graphic designer for some years, while at the same time playing more and more music. I enjoy working with students, and in general, with as many as possible of the billions of wonderful people living on this planet!

Go to the Info page to learn more about things I have done and am doing, and to see some pictures. On the Blog page, I write some thoughts from time to time, and on the Contact page, you can send me a message.
